2012

2012 had a bad start, but it’s a little better now. It’s nearly the middle of May. We are 2 months from the 3rd anniversary of Niko’s death. We are preparing to move into a new home, and leave the house that Niko spent his last years. We are leaving the home Niko died in. I am struggling with this, though I know we have much to look forward to in the new home. It will still be hard to say good bye.

I started doing Agility with Hayley in March. We just started our second class and it’s a lot of fun, though most everyone else there is experienced, and I am not. Thankfully Hayley is wickedly smart, so we don’t look too bad.

All the kitties are doing well. I am not looking forward to moving them. There will be a few stressful days for them, but hopefully they will love the new home and all the windows .

I have a bunch of posts, with a variety of topics, I have started over the last few months, for here, and for my other site. I’ve just been too distracted to refine and finish them. One is about Dot – Kitten with Spina Bifida, that I helped with at the beginning of the year. That was quite an experience. I also have some more on grief, stupid things people do and say, and other misc animal stuff. Hold your breath.

Agility – We’re through Agility I, II, and III. Now we are taking Handling I and Contacts and Weaves at A Click Above. We are having a lot of fun. Here is a little video from one of our last Agility III classes.
